Frequently Asked Questions
CONTACTLESS TICKETING
Once you have completed the ticket purchase, you will receive two (2) emails from CarolinaTix: a confirmation email immediately after your purchase and an email with the contactless tickets 7 days before the event date. If you have made a purchase within 7 days of the event date, your contactless tickets will be attached to the confirmation email.
You can also print out the PDF ticket that is emailed 7 days prior to the event. If you do not have a smartphone or printer, please contact our ticketing team at 704-372-1000 or Tickets@BlumenthalArts.org after purchasing your tickets.
Pull up the tickets on your phone and turn your screen brightness up to the highest level. An usher will then scan your tickets.
We strongly recommend you don’t, but we understand that some people without smartphones may need to. Using contactless tickets will not only help us go green, but it will also reduce the likelihood that anyone inadvertently touches your tickets as you are scanned into the theater.
Whether by phone in advance or at the box office when you arrive for the show, we are happy to help with any issue you might be experiencing.

SHOW INFO
From creators of the blockbuster show in Paris seen by over 2 million visitors and still wowing crowds in Toronto, the premiere of the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit will bring the art of Vincent to life in Charlotte.
Experience art like never before – lose yourself in 300,000 cubic feet of flawless projections animating Vincent van Gogh’s oeuvre. Wander through entrancing, moving images that highlight brushstrokes, detail, and color – truly illuminating the mind of the genius.
You will be immersed in Van Gogh’s works – from his sunny landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still life paintings. The installation includes the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889), and so much more.
Experience the organic landscapes of Van Gogh’s imagination, and journey through his brilliance and madness.
Astonishing in scale and breathtakingly imaginative, you will experience Van Gogh’s art in a completely new and unforgettable way.
The exhibit is designed and conceived by Massimiliano Siccardi, with soundtrack by Luca Longobardi, both of whom pioneered immersive digital art experiences in France.
This exhibition contains sequences of bright flashing lights which may affect visitors who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy, as well as others who are sensitive to moving lights. Viewer discretion is advised.
The runtime of one show is about 35 minutes. You can stay for as many runtimes as you want, once you enter. How much time you spend here is really up to you! Most people stay for 2 to 3 runtimes or more. It really is a great experience. On average patrons spend a little over an hour in the exhibit.
Making its mark in the heart of Charlotte
Immersive Van Gogh will be presented in the historic Ford building at Camp North End, a state-of-the-art creative development with over 300,000 square feet of space already redeveloped for work, artistic expression, dining and hospitality, entertainment, recreation, and community building. For a list of things to do at Camp North End before or after your visit to Immersive Van Gogh, click here.
Earlier this year, the Ford Factory received a local historic landmark designation. Plans call for the space to be redeveloped into modern mixed-use space for office and retail, but this summer it will host one of the world’s most exciting art installations!
